I checked if the <a rel="follow" href="http://www.123-reg.co.uk/domain-names/" rel="nofollow">domain name</a> that represents <a href="http://myname.com" rel="nofollow">myname.com</a> is available and I was surprised to see it wasn't. I did a Google check to see if someone with the same name has a site or is famous in some way. No relevant results. I guess someone just buys random domains and sell them to the name owner.
